Procedures:
1. Get out SSR book. (If you need a book from my shelf, get it quietly and return to your seat.)
2. Clear desk of everything else.
3. Read for entire SSR time.
4. Be respectful of other people reading.
5. When time is called,
Purpose:
1. To choose and enjoy your own books for reading.
2. To read and develop reading skills.
3. To have a set time and place during the week to read.
SSR LOG Purpose:
1. To keep track of what you read.
2. To show me what you're reading and what you think about it.
EACH ENTRY:
Record the date and the title of the book!
Write about what you have read:
a. What happened?
b. What did you think about that?
c. What do you think will happen next?
d. Last page read.
